No Explanations - The In-Zone

The IN-ZONE. That's what people say. The IN-ZONE.

They say that it takes time for people to do tasks that they find are
slightly foreign to do. Such as a pact to do at least 20 laps in the pool. Or to write a darn boring essay. Or clean up the house. Or even making a blog post.

The time they talk about is the few minutes or maybe even hours before doing the task in a manner where it becomes enjoyable. Time becomes to have no value. The only thing that matters is doing what you are doing. No burden whatsoever. In other words, Being INFINITE.

I recall a paragraph in the book 'The Slap' where this certain character, Rich, feels the comfort of the In-Zone. As he promised himself for be physically fit in time for the upcoming year of school by swimming laps in the pool until he feels numb. After about 20 laps every time, he enters the In-Zone. One of the best feelings in the world.

We all need a way to do the tasks we dread so much. And so, How do we do the tasks we detest? Everyone is bound to have at least one. It's only human nature.

In my opinion, with the topic of 'The In-Zone', we have to drive ourselves to doing the tasks we constantly try to postpone and avoid. In that process, we might have to opportunity to easily find the magical in-zone. Who doesn't want to at least once find the magical time-free space? And we might even enjoy it. For over a few centuries, it has been proven that those who are not lazy would slowly enjoy their art with a possibility of finding a security blanket in doing their work.

For example, if every single day of the week we each have a different task to conquer. Got that? 1 day = 1 task for the whole day. In that week we could be guaranteed a minimum of at least finding once the feeling of the In-Zone.

Now together we will go out of our way this week and do that thing nagging at the back of our minds after being shoved away once too many times.

Are you up for the challenge?
